Great Gourmet Coffee: 101

The Ways of Making Great Gourmet coffee

Use high-quality gourmet coffee beans, freshly  roasted and ground just before brewing.
Always use the correct grind for the method. If your gourmet coffee is too bitter and muddy, the grind is too fine; if the brew lacks flavor, the grind is too coarse.
Always use freshly drawn cold water.
Never guess amounts. Use the correct proportion of gourmet coffee and water (two level tablespoons per six ounces cold water for regular-strength gourmet coffee), preferably measuring both. I f gourmet coffee is too strong or weak, change grind and/or blend, not proportion of gourmet coffee to water.
Make sure the gourmet coffee maker is scrupulously clean and thoroughly rinsed. Gourmet coffee quickly picks up off-flavors during the brewing process.
For best results, always brew at least three-fourths of the gourmet coffee maker’s capacity. Most larg...

It’s a communication disorder, which is a general term including speech and language disorders. So yes, it is a language disorder and has nothing to do with learning. Hope that helps, and I’m very sorry about your niece.

Auditory processing disorders encompass a group of disorders where there are deficits in the processing of verbal and non-verbal acoustic stimuli. Children with such disorders may present with difficulties with oral instruction, rapid speech, in background noise, and with language, reading and spelling disorders. The auditory system and pathways including peripheral and central nervous systems may be involved. The human auditory system is fully developed at birth, though myelination continues until 10-12 years. This myelination is sound dependant and may vary in individuals. C...

Hi All

I have imported my Outlook Express files into Live Mail (from an XP machine to a laptop running windows 7) using the import function in Live Mail. When I look in the Storage Folders there are no files to view. In the Quick Views I am able to read and see unread emails from Outlook Express but not emails that I have read on my XP machine.
To do the import I copied the files from the XP machine to a USB stick and then on the laptop browsed to find the files on the stick. The folder containing the OE files in not read only.
Any help would be appreciated

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission will not oppose the proposed acquisition of Stella Travel Services Holdings Pty Ltd by Jetset Travelworld Limited.

The brands of Stella Travel Services include Harvey World Travel and Travelscene American Express, and Jetset Travelworld also operates Qantas Holidays and Qantas Business Travel.

On 21 July 2010 the ACCC published a Statement of Issues outlining certain competition issues which arose during the course of the ACCC's initial market inquiries. The Statement of Issues identified that the Jetset-Stella merger had the potential to raise competition concerns in the retail and wholesale supply of travel products and services.

After extensive further inquiries with retail travel agents, wholesalers, content providers (such as airlines and hotels) and industry associations, the ACCC concluded that the proposed acquisition was unlikely to result in a substantial lessening of competition in any of the relev...

Rotorua, New Zealand is the place to be for geothermal activity. There are more hot springs, thermal pools, sulphur spas, mud pools, and volcanic valleys than you can count.

We managed to squeeze trips to four of Rotorua’s most well known geothermal parks into our three day stop in the city. (Thanks, in part, to our press pass that allowed us free entry into each.) Most people won’t have the time or money to see more than one or two geothermal parks.

So how do you choose which to visit? Here’s a break-down of what we liked best about each park:

Te Puia

Te Puia is the closest park to Rotorua. It’s only about 5 minutes outside of the city-center (compared to 20-30 minutes for the other parks). The geysers are a main attraction and erupt every 30 minutes or so. There is also a good mix of boiling mud pools and thermal pools. All of them are interesting, but none spectacular. I would say that Te Puia has the best mix of Maori culture and geoth...

05 F250. Just replaced egr valve, egr cooler (bulletproof), oil cooler, head gaskets, turbo, ipr and icp - the usual. Now trying to monitor and keep an eye on things so we don't have to go through this again. I have a 3 gauge package from isspro: pyro, boost, and tft. I going for the 3 gauge mount over the rear view mirror. So I am looking for thoughts as to the following: there is a factory boost gauge in the dash which I understand is fairly accurate, so I was thinking of leaving that gauge out and getting either an oil temp or coolant temp, but there are factory gauges for those in the dash, too. So, now I am thinking of maybe a fuel pressure gauge to go with the pyro and tft. Just looking for thoughts from somebody who has been there, done that. Thanks.

Ok, I have been unable to find anything about this for the mk2. (85 p-type 5-s)
